"Just Because" Chocolates has changed it's name to Just Because Chocolates and Cakes. However this year I will be limited as to what I can do because of my nursing schedule at Hospice. I will be doing My Business Accounts and working in as many orders as I can but with working every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Hospice my services WILL BE LIMITED. I am trying to be with my family more this year. So with that being said I will try to do all I can to help people but PLEASE understand if I can not. If I can't help you I will refer you to others in the area. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.

I became interested in cake decorating in high school. My mother would bake cakes for me and then I would decorate them after school. I grew up in Southern Pines, NC and moved to Wilmington, NC in 1998 with my husband and son. I am very grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to serve people and be able to witness in a very different way... with love, chocolates and cakes.
I would like to dedicate this business to my Lord and Savior, my mother (Maria Duffey) who died in 1981, and to my dad Msgt. William H. Duffey who died in 2006. With their love and guidance I have learned that God is first and through Him I can do all things.
